Take What You Need #7
my poetry curation reimagined.
Oh how I have missed this. In June I took a bit of a break and I will admit, I was frustrated. I was frustrated with the words that wouldn’t come to me, I thought perhaps I have finally run out? Maybe it is in some ways true, for that brief pause, I didn’t need to express. I needed to listen. It turns out, I was doing quite a bit of yearning. Yearning to live a bit scarier, and what I mean is, a bit more vulnerable.
So, I offer you Take What You Need, the same poetry curation, but in a way that had me giggling to myself and running to my laptop to make. I have always imagined us gathering around a bulletin board tearing off the poems that spark something in us. A recognition, an ache, a laugh, a joy. I can imagine this much more clearly now as I spruced them up. Enjoy!

They are all gorgeous, but I especially enjoyed "It's July now"
Stealing the love one for my wife.
Sorrynotsorry.
(kidding, I don’t take credit for shit I didn’t do). But I am gonna send it to her.
